What to Expect

As sustainability becomes a crucial part of education and culture, this immersive camp in Bali offers Japanese students a unique opportunity to explore how local communities balance development with environmental stewardship. Bali's rich traditions, guided by the philosophy of Tri Hita Karana—harmony between humans, nature, and the spiritual—showcase sustainable living in action. By drawing connections to Japan’s Mottainai philosophy of resourcefulness, students will gain a deeper understanding of Asia’s diverse ecosystems.

Through hands-on learning, participants will engage with Bali’s culture, explore sustainability challenges, and develop practical solutions. This transformative experience not only broadens students' perspectives on global sustainability but also empowers them to bring these lessons back to their own communities, fostering environmental responsibility and cultural appreciation.
